Most would argue that buying this is a sign of going too far given the cost, but Air France's music is some of my all time favourite and when I recently saw this release existed I just had to take a gamble on buying it.
My copy has the slightest amount of crackle at points but nothing that detracts from the experience, to a degree I enjoy it as a characteristic of vinyl. The sound beyond that will not disappoint. It sounds full, mixed well, with good dynamic range and is basically all I was hoping for.
FYI about the listings that keep popping for just the second C/D record: there was an overstock of just that record found by the label owner maybe a year/year and a half ago. He very nicely just included it in a few label bundles of records as a bonus without trying to rip anybody off. I know as I had the original first EP, and was specifically wanting just the second once (as you can see from my March 2014 comment below), so when I emailed him about it, he just sent me C/D for free.
So basically any listing for just C/D is someone that got an overstock copy in a white label for pretty much free trying to flip it hard. Just thought fans should be aware :)- According to a message on vinylcollective, it's planned to be repressed and I really hope this is not a joke. The prices for the original presisng are horrendous.

For those desperate, acephale has a very limited stock of the On Trade Winds 10'' for sale on their big cartel shop. Might be better than nothing for some :)
