"Out Of The Blue" is the seventh studio album by the British rock group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released in October 1977. Written and produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne, the double album is among the most commercially successful records in the group's history, selling about 10 million copies worldwide.

This is a good sounding pressing. Not as good as a SR/2 standard pressing, but it still works quite well. Only complaint is that Mr. Blue Sky has pretty bad IGD towards the end, especially during the "please turn me over" bit.

not sure if it reuses any european or british masters or if this is a completely diffrent one mixed in sweden.
very uncommon record too find. but if do sure worth it!
sound qualitly is almost just as good as the SR/2

I also have a copy with Blue Artic outer sleeve but with black vinyl inside, like the "VTLPK" user, not blue vinyl, and no cut out space station (it doesn't suit here)...

Overall this is a well pressed picture disk, some surface noise was present in a few tracks, however, it didn't over shadow the music.

A beautiful operatic, electrifying and bright album with everything you'd want from ELO. shiny and bright synths, grand orchestral string accompanyments, drums that keep everything running like butter and melodies you'll be humming for weeks. This might be their "the wall" if i had to describe it. It's and experience that leaves you euphoric after every song

Why is it that several titles on the Jet label -- this one included -- seem to be "zoomed in" with the building top larger and the spotlights crossing over the hole, while most others are smaller with the spotlights crossing in the center?
