this was one of my (many) come down records in the late 90s after a night out of ecstatic dancefloor convulsions, late morning, huge drone sound. effects, fx, efx.MBV had obviously clamped ruthlessly these to the guitar with a specific purpose to recall 60s girl groups being swallowed but FSA managed to unchain the chain effects, let them run free and suggest not detroit but damp leaves, mucus, trepanning and always fucked eyes . it was the first time we ever felt reverb and ive never been hard since (used to play the tele:funken side at 45 when i was horny)
