Show All 15 ReviewsDecent but not great live recording unlike the Village Vanguard ones, nice playing except I'm not mad about the bass tone due to the electric pickup on it, it really gets annoying and twangy from side two of 1st record onwards.

My copy was pristine, flat, and sounds very intimate and quiet. A great chill recording. The choice of lower case for the type on the cover and the blurb on the gatefold seems a bit strange though. I love this album nevertheless.

Thank goodness this was not a RSD release, otherwise it would have been immediately grabbed by the scalpers and offered here for ridiculously inflated prices. Why didn't CRAFT do the same with "Quiet Kenny" in Mono? It is a crime that Kenny Dorham album was only available on a limited basis. This Evans album is an excellent release with great sound quality and very good quality packaging. Definitely recommended.

My copy of the 2 lp pressing is perfect. This is a must have for Evans fans. Beautifully captured live club recording.

I cannot understand, why on German pressing is sticker RTI pressing? I feel cheated by Craft, because I ordered RTI pressing. What do you think guys?

All 4 sides of my copy have some noise issues, be it a solid minute of light noise, a random pop or just intermittent noise. Discs are flat and clean and so is my setup, bummer. The mastering is dynamic and pleasing however and the tunes are top notch
