As I mentioned on the Discogs page for the original vinyl release, most or all of the orchestral (and perhaps electronic) music on this album was not composed by Attilio Mineo, but taken from the Valentino / Major Records production library catalog. Two of the composers were in fact George Chase (aka Michael Reynolds) and Roger Roger. Some of the Valentino music by Chase, Roger and others were also used in Moody Science documentaries during the 1950s (and perhaps also in some of their documentaries during the '60s as well). As far as I've been able to ascertain, the orchestral parts of the "Man In Space With Sounds" album sound exactly like the recordings from the Valentino / Major Records albums, so apart from editing and mixing together other composer's work, what exactly Mineo "conducted" or composed remains to be verified. The main reason I'm making an effort to bring this information to light is so that the actual composers are properly credited and recognized for the great music which made this release possible.

One thing I think is unfortunate about this project is that the people who actually composed the music are not credited. Instead, credit is given to Valentino (aka Major Records), a production library music publisher. For example, some of the music was actually composed by George Chase and Roger Roger, which were also used for the old Moody Science documentaries, although without the additional electronic sounds heard on this release. What the album sounds like to me, is Mineo editing and mixing various library music and electronic sounds together to create each of the tracks. Whether Mineo really "conducted" an orchestra for a re-recording of the various library music used for this release remains to be proven.
