This pressing is better than the recent reissues. It has a larger soundstage and better instrument separation. It’s a live performance so it will never be perfect but this is the best pressing offered at this time as of 2022.- Edited one year agoThis pressing is ok at best. It may have been remastered from the “original tape” but I doubt it was cut from it. The original pressing I have of this album sounds MUCH better. I bought this thinking it would be better than the original since my original isn’t in mint shape but the original still sounds much better. The original pressing has a much larger soundstage and much better dynamics and instrument separation. Go with a first pressing.
This concert recording has a very good sound quality! The vinyl is wonderful! It costs a lot but the price is justified as the quality and the many beautiful songs make the price visible!
The sound quality is seriously good - clear as a bell and very rich. Not to mention the talented backing instrumentalists! It's a very nice listen considering this is one of Harrison's last recordings.
