I had this version on a 45RPM EP 2 disc album when it first came out. Never been issued on CD nor probably ever will be. Too Bad... Found a sealed 331/3 at a flea market. Had forgotten all about it. Just listening to it now after 60 odd years. Can't beat that RCA Victor mono recording process. Have no idea about the narrator, R. Hale but boy do I remember all his inflections. A fine performance, all round. This was probably my intro to classical & until a community college class, would never have listened again. Fiedler was a character and underappreciated.
