- Edited 2 years agoPoint 44 releases 710, 712 & 715 have been canceled by ID&T at the end of 1997 due tot the downfall of hardcore popularity and sales. This release was pressed on whitelabel and one or more covers have been printed but the official pressing was cancelled. I've also heared that ID&T found the printwork tot costly, my guess is a combination of costs and downfall in sales made them cancel it. Only insiders know or have this cover and/or whitelabel. These have never been distributed, never seen by the main Dutch distributors and shops. ID&T sold their remaining hardcore stock at the end of the 90's to a few salesmen, a lot of it being sold and later on stocked for a few years due to noni-nterest. On a over 10.000 ID&T-vinyls basement stock this release was not among. Rige Entertainment also held small ID&T stock around 2005 from which I rook severall late unreleashed and some extremely limited pre-pressed ID&T whitelabel vinyls but this release was also not among. My connections have never seen this Demonax cover. Bye the way tjis is kind a Cenobite Hellraiser style, unlike the happier releases Point 44 brought forward.
- Edited 13 years agoSome information:
This release only exists as a whitelabel. There were a couple of test sleeves printed(see images), but ID&T found the sleeve print to expensive and decided not to release it, unfortunately.
I own one of these test prints wich was given to me by DJ Arjuna. DJ Jordens(label manager) told me only 10 of these test sleeves were printed.
