- Ditto to spavedvest. This needs a proper vinyl release as it is brilliant start to finish. Might be his best if you're OK with poppier production and vocals.
- For the love of God, please release this on vinyl. One of my favorite albums of all time, it kills me this is not available
- Edited 2 years agoI must say almost every song on this album deserves attention due to the crazy detalization level; I'm afraid I can't actually imagine how much desire and how many hours of hard and scrupulous work did it take Brian and people who helped him to create this work of art. for me Every Other Way is undoubtedly one of the masterpieces of modern [electonic] music, I just can't count the layers hidden in it.. honestly, I shed tears at its infinite beauty.
Try noticing tiny fading sound of a working machine in the end of The Ghost In You..The man is a genius.
On this album, as well through all his career, he follows the concept of erasing the boundaries between artificial and organic, underground and popular, and creates the future of music.
And what a wonderful and detailed artwork by Aaron Jasinski. No words, just wow.

Brian, if you're reading this, I just want to thank you for being who you are, you really make people happy. Much love for you! - Edited 12 years agoBT is clearly a producer at heart. He shows his artistic talent in everything he releases. Many trance producers half-ass their releases, and it shows in the final product. When you listen to something by BT, it's obvious that there was time put into each and every track. But, it's just too pop-based and cheesy for me to like this. If you like a lot of vocals, then this will be right down your alley, but I'm looking for a more subtle and deep sound, like what he had on "This Binary Universe".
- I find it cheap to re-release the original album, edited down. At least he could have included bonus tracks or something, but instead, it's an attempt to cash out on a year old album. I'd suggest you'll get the original edition instead, because some tracks are just better longer.
Length issues aside, it is a good album though. If you hated BT for Emotional Technology, then chances are this won't change your mind, especially with tracks like "The Emergency" and "Forget Me", which sounds a bit too poppy. But there are some brillant tracks like "Every Other Way" & "Le Nocturne De Lumière", which is easily the best track on the album.
I'd give this a 7/10, because it's just a cash in, but it's great album never the less. I'd suggest getting the original 2 disc edition, because the longer intros/outros really adds a lot to some tracks. If long tracks aren't your thing though, then this is reconmendable. - This is by far the best compilation of amazing music released in the ranks of the underground since This Mortal Coil released Filigree and Shadow back in the 80's BRILLIANT !!!!!
