An outstanding mid-career Cure LP(their 6th). Dreamy guitar and synth work. Highlights are "In Between Days", "Sinking", and "Close To Me".

A beautiful '80s-sounding mix and wide sound stage really adds some polish(check out "Six Different Ways"). EQ is very nice, full range and good details on top. A little bit of kick/bass thump when cranked.

180g vinyl is pristine. Unfortunately, the inner sleeve is so tight it caused scuffs on the record when I tried to remove it. Boo.

i never listened to this record back in the day. if course i heard the songs, but i never listened to the album. its a bit light on the bass. i dont know if its the mastering or the mix, but a good bit of the record is a lil bit light on the bass.

This release sounds so good it’s disarming. Dead silent with beautiful separation. Full and warm soundstage. I’m really impressed.

This pressing sounds great to me. I have a sub so I get plenty of bass. I don't have an original to compare it to, but this pressing is dynamic and well EQd. No regrets.

I think this glossy version of the digipak and the booklet looks better than the matte version, where the whole album art is a bit too dark. Remaster is beautiful. 5 out of 5.

My copy is dead quiet and sounds great. But, there is some distortion on the last tracks on each side. It's not so bad on "Push" but it's a little worse on "Sinking". I'd still recommend this copy if you can find it for under $20.

Great value. Currently around $20 bucks, overall it sounds great. Unfortunately, Closer to Me one of the strongest songs on the album, will consistently skip.....purchased new, immediately on first play..... Not visible to the eye and despite a good cleaning, the skip remains. But its a solid album, decent press and at this price I could just buy it again.... its cheaper than a delivered pizza and is much more satisfying in the long run!

Purchased new and the record was tough to get out of the inner sleeve and needed to be cleaned. There are pops in places throughout but overall it sounds great. The best I’ve heard this album sound since I first heard it in the late 80s.
