- Now this is a real curio. Most people only know about this release via 1. being a Child's Play fan, or 2. learning how it was used as sound torture in a horrible 1992 murder in Britain. Howevery way you came here will dictate your mileage in how much you enjoy (or don't enjoy) "Hi I'm Chucki".
This release is pretty overwhelmingly sample-heavy...if I had to be honest, I'd say this is a newcomer's very limp beat, pumped up with famous samples from bigger artists and a then-huge movie franchise. However I imagine its title track would be a lot more enjoyable if it came up in the middle of a club DJ's mix. If you're aware of the track's use in a murder, then it makes the song a whole lot more dark-sided than it was likely ever meant to be. If you like the song, you like it, and that's totally fair. But otherwise this release just feels very one-note. - Edited 5 years agoSamples the 1987 Chicago house/acid track: Dancer - 'Boom-Boom' (Trax Records) 1987

great tune,, glad iv'e had it in my collection since its release.... Big up mr stu allan. - This record reminds me a bit of The Prodigy - Everybody In The Place, similar bass sounds. Unfortunately the record label went bust so the record did not do as well as it should have done. A good production from the man like Stu Allan.
