Like walking the beaches of Bahia enjoying a golden sunlit sunset.
Paul's sax is breezy and the music is just pillowy, melodic saudade wrapped in sheer music genius. Music is downtempo, percussion laden complete with string section accompaniment and of course Desmond's cool and sophisticated saxsmanship as only he can conjure from the reeds.
This is in all essence a homage to the great Brazilian composers Milton Nascimento and Edu Lodo two icons in the Brazilian music pantheon.
If you tire of the atypical bossa, traditional bop or fusion jazz this is a nice distraction and no its not muzak!
