- The level of reissue of this album is amazing. By and large, all the current possibilities of the vinyl record production industry are used here. And the way Behemoth treats its early heritage cannot but arouse respect. The original "Grom" is material from the era when the band performed raw and rough pagan black. This album and Sventevith complement each other in part of the pagan leitmotif. And in general, these two albums stand apart in Behemoth's career. Accordingly, the approach to reissues is identical, It woulds like to see later works in a similar format someday.
The edition is worthy: double vinyl, the second of which you will listen to once at best, includes a huge retrospective and extremely informative booklet. There are no questions about the first record - "Grom" in all its greatness, a little uneven, but full of good ideas. What is called the product of its time. The sound is quite natural and dynamic, but the original version was recorded with minimal engineering processing. So here you can also hear how young musicians sometimes do not keep up with each other. As for the second vinyl - it is strange that the materials from "Bewitching The Pomerania" were not used, which, as it were, closes the pagan period. The cover versions are not bad, the live performances and rehearsals are so-so, all these bootlegs are something like ballast, which could be posted on the band's website or bandcamp in mp3. In any case, the edition is of very high quality, it is both luxury and gift. And makes a winning impression against the background of many releases of today. At least because of the rich printing set, this edition is better than the relatively recent press from Back on Black. - This has always been one of my favorite black metal releases. This re-issue is incredible. Sound is perfect, and the booklet included is a fun read.

Album is okay, it's not great but it's cool to hear the early stuff once in awhile!referencing Grom (CD, Album, Reissue) MMP CD 0168
Does this copy have a slip sleeve over the jewel case? My copy matches all the other specs but the band name / logo aren't printed on the booklet as pictured.referencing Grom (LP, Album, Reissue, Gatefold) BOBV623LP
I’m told this actually does not contain the track “rising proudly towards the sky” if anyone could confirmreferencing Grom (CD, Album, Reissue) MMP CD 0168
