'Luv Luv Lik Lik' is tear-inducing beautiful. This is by Gary Martin, the unsong hero of the weird funky end of 90s underground techno.

I was into acid jazz, soul and funk when I bought this by accident (can't remember why). It would be fair to say the track 'Mole People' got me into techno. The different loops, dark, dark, dark just mix like nothing else I've heard before or since then... as far as hard, slamming, eerie, monotonous and hypnotic techno goes, this is the killer...

About 4 minutes into "Luv Luv Lik Lik", I hear a familiar melody creeping into the track. Right away I recognize that it's an "alien" version of Donna Summer's "Love to Love You Baby". Gary Martin once again blows me away! He must be from Mars! :) I like the b-side better than the a-side. "Luve Luve Lik Lik" has that really nice "Seductive Sounds of Teknotika" era sound.
