Gave it a spin last night. Sounds amazing! Great pressing.- I just gotta say, I love that this still hasn’t sold once. This release literally sold out online in 50 seconds, and these popped up on here a week later for five times the price. I have a personal vendetta against record flippers and ticket scalpers
- Sounds surprisingly good. I like the screen printed cover too. So glad this got an official pressing.
- Absolutely beautiful and unique colored record. Nothing else I have looks like it. But does anyone else’s skip? I got an unopened mint copy and it skips a bit throughout
- NOBODY BUY THIS! Let scalpers lose their money. There’s plenty of other versions more reasonably priced that sound just as good, albeit less rare
- Edited 8 months agoJust got this one in the mail today!
The record master and mix sound Phenomenal on vinyl, The cymbal's are crystal clear and super bright, Drums are dynamic and punchy, and Green's voice shines through perfectly! Definitely one of my best sounding Post-Hardcore records I have.
The hand painted artwork is really beautiful and really well done with the foil lettering, although I wish it was Gatefold like the other presses but I think the custom artwork is worth it for sure. I also really like the Etched B-side for the lyrics even if it's a bit unconventional and hard to read, it's still nice to have.
My copy came a little warped but it's really only noticeable on the transition from "Translating the Name" to "3rd Measurement in C" with a little hump of static when the warped part rotates around but it goes away once the music kicks back in.
Overall a great package if you're looking for a collectors item and great sounding record, Highly recommend it, If you can get your hands on one for a good price.
(if you're reselling a $40 record for 7-8x the amount just because it's a "low number" that's pretty crappy of you.) referencing Translating The Name (LP, Single Sided, EP, Etched, Reissue, Black & White Marble Hand Poured) DDUP-001
Is the inside gatefold to this black or gray? Just got mine resell and it was sealed but it was gray and etr hard them up as black.- I got 15/150! If I can snag a copy of the Enjoy the Ride variant this Friday (100 of the hand poured black/white marble with a new handmade custom jacket) I might let this one go, but it's a beauty.

Great sounding pressing! My copy wasn't warped but it showed up with seam splits (cover is white so not very noticeable). Will be playing this one a lot- What the actual fuck? This looks way cooler than the mock-up photo that was just plain blue. I would've picked this over the silver!
