Gorillaz – Plastic Beach

Wonderful sounding record. Boomy bass. Crisp highs. Not a touch of mud. It's LOUD but clear. No distortion at all. Fantastic pressing.

Fantastic album! This album is almost as good as demon days, with classics like “rhinestone eyes”, “on melancholy hill” and “empire ants”. Theres only one song on this album i truly dislike, which is sweepstakes, as i thought it was a little weird. This pressing is also really good, the music sounds great! This release is so good, its a gatefold, so when you open it up you get LOVELY artwork by Jamie Hewlett and The Zombie Flesh Eaters As Well As A Track Listing. When you get the inner sleeves out though, wow, they are great, the inner sleeves have MORE FANTASTIC ART by Jamie Hewlett and The Zombie Flesh Eaters. This release is fantastic.

great album, unfortunately my copy came somewhat warped and has multiple skips throughout the album even after cleaning the vinyl.

My copy sounds amazing! The vocals are very clear, very upfront. No complaints.

I wish that there was an official instrumental of Sweepstakes

One of the most fantastic sounding records in my collection.

Really good pressing except for the fact that Side D is riddled with scratches. Some clicks when it goes over one, but it’s pretty minimal. :(

Probably needs a new entry, just bought this in Feb 2024, it says "Made in the U.S.A." on back jacket

Very nice Promo :) the tracks are the same identical to the original album, BUT the mastering is different, because the tracks are "quieter", that is less amplified than the original release, so the sound of every track is more CLEAN :) (less cut frequensies)

This is my first Gorillaz record, and I was hyped. In general, everything is great, except for a couple of moments. First, the quality of the inner sleeves. This is ordinary glossy paper. I'm not sure about the statics, I haven't noticed any problems yet. In the reviews, several people write that nothing is electrified, so... I'll wait. Secondly, it may have seemed to me, but there is a feeling that the sound is SLIGHTLY muffled. Or somehow poorly mixed, I don't know. Not critical, still can listen with pleasure. In general, I am satisfied.
