Notes
The first track (Firebomb) on Third From The Sun is 3:47 in it's original, complete album version. In 1982, approximately 1:13 in length (beginning at 2:31 and ending at 3:47) was truncated to create a 7" single version which totals 2:31. [All times are minutes:seconds]
Some album releases of 3rd From The Sun after 1988 (from 2007 to present) used a shorter version of Firebomb instead of the original, full length 3:47 version. This shorter version of Firebomb uses a fadeout at the instrumental interlude (at approximately 2:31) for eight seconds to make Third From The Sun a total of 2:39.

This is my preferred release of 3rd From The Sun. The Cleopatra reissue from 2011 is fine, but uses some brickwall limiting, so it's missing some resolve and dynamism.
The incorrect information on the back and the different colored text is because the packaging is based off of the original USA Siren release, which inexplicably has incorrect titles and track ordering. My guess is that they were still figuring out the tracklist when Damon wrote the text onto the sleeve graphics,(Future Ghosts may have had a working title), and somehow it went out to people in that state.
The sound quality is great, no real flaws, thankfully. Of all of Chrome's albums, this one has been lucky enough to get good distribution and not have any awful versions.
Only complaint: The HUGE Noiseville logo is pretty ugly, and the on-disc graphic is vomitous....

Was this really release on 4AD? I can't find any information on it, and I'm too familiar with the 4AD catalog to not have heard about it....
