I wonder that no Riot fans have ever talked about it, but what the hell is happening with solo in Don't Bring Me Down during the last chorus? All the downloaded versions in mp3 I had in my youth have this solo, but when I bought LP (Elektra – 5E-546, AR - https://www.discogs.com/release/2098679-Riot-Fire-Down-Under), this solo is cut out. I noticed that some versions have this solo and some are not...

Version with solo - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbPmNP5euac
Moment in question is from 2:18 to 2:48
Let's solve this mystery together! If you have a physical copy of Fire Down Under (or Fire Down Below ;)) - check if you have this solo on your version and reply!referencing Fire Down Under (LP, Album, Limited Edition, Numbered, Reissue, Stereo, Red translucent) MOVLP3254
Mine has a blob of white on both sides, it looks like a seagull has shit on it. Lol. A one off.referencing Fire Down Under (LP, Album, Stereo) K 52315

Great release from Music on Vinyl. 👍🏼
A very punchy & dynamic mastering together with a very quiet pressing.
A minor complaint is, that the printing and the finish of the matte sleeve could be of a bit better quality. (Compared to MOV‘s last release of „Annihilator - Alice in Hell“, which had a nice high gloss sleeve).
If you like this album, look no further.
Don‘t pay scalper prices, this pressing is widely available at the moment. referencing Fire Down Under (LP, Album, AR) 5E-546
I agree 100% this is one of the best rock albums imo, great sound , killer riffs, great guitar interplay between the two guitarists , awesome solos, above average songwriting , great vocals , Ive had this since probably 1982 and I still play it regularly, always an enjoyable listen it never fails- Edited 2 years ago

Thin jacket, paper record sleeve, plain lyrics insert, record is light weight and warped, BUT it actually sounds pretty darn good and no surface noise (i did clean it on the spin clean before listening). If you can deal with poor esthetics/presentation and, possibly, a little warpage, then i definitely recommend picking this up for the $20 price tag, cuz it's a kick ass record. And yes, it is a translucent orange type color and does contain the two extra tracks at the end of side two, which are okay, but nothing special. - Not a dead quiet pressing but flat and quiet enough (after cleaning thoroughly on rcm). Dynamics could be better but separation is good enough. Artwork is good and the included poster takes me back to the 80’s. Great album.

This pressing seems extremely loud to me, with the treble cranked way too high.- This will always be the best Riot album without a doubt a testament to the Hard Rock heavy metal mixture they employed a very underrated classic and in my top five of 1981
