      I don't get why people are so miffed about the poor quality inner sleeves? This is how inner sleeves have been done in the US since inception. They are often even worse, ironed sides with no room to take the vinyl in or out without creasing/destruction. At least from 1980 and onwards, UK inners usually sought quality over cheap manufacturing costs. This is an American product, and that is what you get.
      Great vinyl pressing though, even if I have no-other pressing to compare with, but I'm still able relive the mid 90s hazy and dusted dream, in summer time, none the less 🤩

          My copy has the above runouts BUT side 1 has
          MASTERED BY TRUTONE P@ 10-95 TR-P@ SRC ASW-6157 - SIDE 1
          but below the TR-P@ has scratched out ASW SIDE I
          any guesses?

            This one sounds fantastic, slightly closed-in and dark in tone, but full and dynamic, I love it, the bass thumps and the production shines really!!!!! Another aspect, side D is true gold!!!!!

              This record sounds like it has a CD master and no Vinyl master. Very hard sound, less dynamic, lots of compression. To my opinion this one really needs a vinyl remastering, because the music is outstanding

                    Great pressing. Sounds clean and noise free. To my untrained ears it sounds like it was mastered with less compression than the CD release, but still very "Chemical Brothers"'ish.

                      I’ve got a Frankenstein copy-it has a upc barcode sticker overtop what I think is the original Europe UPC barcode(sorry I don’t want to peel it up) and down to the right of the white “the chemical brothers”logo is an Astralwerks sticker🤷‍♂️maybe an early import to US. All in OG shrink!

                        Just some additional stuff read online

                        The LP features a series of messages on the run-out grooves. One of them, "Huw is innocent!" on side four, apparently refers to Rowlands' brother. This message would later be referenced on the LP of Push the Button (2005), where the side four run-out message claims "Huw is still innocent!" Lol

                        The cover of the album was from a 1970s fashion shoot reject box, according to Ed Simons.

                        "Song to the Siren" was made simply using a Hitachi hi-fi system, an Atari ST, a sampler, and a keyboard, using a sample of This Mortal Coil.
