Is this CD Reissue for real?? It has the same catalogue-number as the original US LP-version of 1976. Can't find any source of a official CD-release.

Curious as to what the consensus is on sound quality between this Dutch pressing versus the American pressing.

Seems to be pressed on 180g or maybe even higher. The vinyl is extremely thick and heavy

It is available from an illegitimate download source in 24/192, but it's only a mediocre vinyl rip. Actually only heard this a few days ago on youtube as a recommendation. Downloaded the flac for a proper listen, and though not bad, does get a bit monotonous after a wile. I think these tracks are brilliantly crafted to be heard on their own throughout a random mix of other tracks, but a whole album at once is a bit too much.

Sea & Seasons is lovely. Guitarist opening the taps a little :) then the beautiful soprano sax.
But lets face it the whole album is a treasure.

Damn good funk fusion. Horns, groovin' bass lines locked in tighter than a military snare and funkin' moogy goodness. This really needs a cd re-release....a testament to really great music lost in the torrent of time.

Very high quality pressing. My copy is dead quiet with no pops or crackles. I don't have an original copy to compare it to, but the new mastering sounds fantastic.

This is used to be a dollar bin record not long ago. YouTube algorithm magic once again.
