Surprised no one ever commented on this brilliant release.
Hold On is my favorite of the two tracks, and exudes that warm acid sound throughout. After the long, increasingly intense buildup (about four and a half minutes into the track), the dribbly acid madness simply fires on all cylinders. One of those tracks that you could listen to for much longer than its actual duration. 5/5. The track actually reminds me of some of Kai Franz/Tracid's old releases under names like Acut Genius and Formic Acid, though it certainly bears elements of acid techno, as well.
By contrast, the Cheese Grater rides the line between hard acid trance and typical SUF-style acid techno, perhaps veering more towards the latter. In fact, it sounds a bit like Geezer's work as part of the 'Balloonheads'. 5/5.
Bottom line, this is a floor-burning two-track release. Get it if you don't already own it.
