The Beatles – Abbey Road

Even if it is nice with the extra LPs, having heard this album since I was an infant and always regarded this as the crown in their careers, I must say, that if you meddle wth perfection, you are going to fail.
I do not like the "New Mix" / Butchering one bit. Had this included the Real Deal and an extra LP on the side with the Inferior Re-Mix, I guess I would have liked it so much better, cause I could see it as a joke/prank.
With an incorrect cover, as this isn't the Album Abbey Road but a mere decoy, I'd say that this is a straight-out fraudelent release.

The remix is clearly inferior to the original - compared this to UK and Danish first pressings, and even my spotified daughter noticed the difference. Outtakes are great though.

In my opinion The Beatles best album is Abbey Road. Also, in my opinion, I feel Sargent Peppers Lonely hearts Club Band is over produced and a bit overrated.

But, I purchased Abbey Road on Vinyl and this 2019 reproduction by Apple Corps Limited sounds great but doesn’t offer much info other than produced by George Martin— in what year!? All I can surmise Abbey Road was released before 1970 (when Beatles broke up).

I think It is safe to say it is next to impossible to find an original Abbey Road Beatles album these days, especially one that cost only 14$.
So, this is a great purchase of a great album with every song seemingly familiar to me. I’m pretty sure I have heard EVERY single song from Abbey Road, at one time or another, on the radio.
This is the first time (believe it or not) I have owned a Beatles album of any kind.

I am not a fan of the remixes so whatever, but the session disc is a total romp and beautifully mastered.

Purchased this in Rough Trade in London when visiting there a week ago. this pressing is amazing. quiet, very full and warm. LOVE IT.

A totally classic pressing. I still own my Mom's copy.

Beats the pants off my 1987 CD for sure. Everything just sounds clearer on the Black Triangle CD when de-emphasized, too bad this particular release is unreasonably expensive for a casual fan like me

Practically identical to the first pressing in terms of sound due to using the same stampers and cuttings as mentioned below - no point shelling out for a good condition copy of the 1st press when you can find one of these in the same condition for a fraction of the cost. One of the best sounding LPs in my collection, absolutely superb.
