The English rock band The Beatles existed from 1962 to 1970 and has recorded 12 studio albums.
Abbey Road is the 11th studio album by British rock group The Beatles, released on September 26, 1969 in Great Britain and Germany. In the UK it was their twelfth album including the compilation album. In Germany it was their 15th album including the compilation albums. It was released in the US on October 1, 1969, where it was their 18th album.
The album was named after the street of the same name in London's St. John's Wood in the City of Westminster, where EMI's recording studios are located, where most of their recordings were made. Abbey Road is the last album the Beatles recorded together.
With over 31 million copies sold, Abbey Road is one of the most successful albums worldwide.

No complaints here. This sounds spectacular to my ears.and on my midfi vintage equipment.

TLC mastering on whisper-quiet audiophile-grade vinyl results in what just might be the best Canuck mastered & pressed version of this LP. Fantastic dynamics, terrific fidelity & crazy huge sound...
Bought brand new sealed from Amazon. Record is mostly flat and well centered. Pressing quality is pretty okay, no major flaw and it's quiet for the most part. I've not heard any other versions of this album, but the mastering sounds well balanced and quite enjoyable to my ears. Probably not the best pressing of this iconic album, but this remaster worth the price IMHO. Not much to complaint about. 4.65 / 5- This discs sound is pretty harsh on the loud parts, especially on the medley. But the quiet parts sound pretty good. I would not recommend purchasing this version for sound quality purposes.

I still don't consider this album the technical marvel others seem to, but it's certainly a drastic improvement over the shoddy 2009/2012 remaster and does sound very nice overall, if a bit polite.

Reading the reviews here prompted me to fi d a decent copy. Well, what a cracking press. Sounds so musical, great soundstage and so clear. Hardly a peep out of the vinyl itself.
Fantastic record.
Like the other remasters, it is boring, flat, dull... it is a very different thing from the magnificent sound that this recording has.
