The Beatles – 1967-1970

Really noisy vinyl. Lots of noise on quiet passages & in between tracks.

I have this pressing, it sounds tremendous with a great stereo mix, lovely panning on certain tracks. But, I guess it’s also how most of these tracks are on the regular albums.

I purchased the SEBX-11843 pressing recently. When I first played it, it sounded very scratchy on all four sides. Then I gave each side a thorough but careful cleaning--at least twice. It now sounds wonderful--very clear, full, and well-balanced with no annoying scratchy sounds. It sounds better, I think, than my 2018 Capitol pressing, which is a good bit quieter. Runouts are as follows:

On "A Day In The life" Paul's voice sounds lower than Johns, which is a bit odd... "Hello Goodbye" sounds fantastic especially when they go "Hello goodbye hello goodbyeee". "Old Brown Shoe" sounds a bit muffled though I'm not sure if that's my copy (It got a lot of scratches but still plays decently). Slide D sounds crystal clear! :)

A mi me suele dar completamente igual las ediciones remasterizadas de los discos, y con los Beatles no cambio de opinion...
Suena mas que increible.
Curiosamente no le siento la compresion a esta remasterizaicon del '93, cosa que se agradece, esto permite apreciar mucho mejor los tracks.

I'd like to ask the creator of this entry what leads them to believe that this is remastered, let alone a promo edition of any sorts. There is zero indication of such. The fact that my disc one is flimsy as can be and disc 2 is normal tells me this is a bootleg.

Got this for Xmas and I haven’t stopped listening to it since then. The mix on this pressing is amazing. I’ve listened to the majority of these songs plenty of times and this mix gives them a new feel like they’re new releases. Dear Prudence is jaw dropping. Within You Without You sounds like a jam session of Indian musicians. The pressing is very quiet and the transparent royal blue color is gorgeous. Thinking of getting the red one now ;)

This was issued around 1980 in Ireland as i remember.

This is the perfect remaster compared to the remixes and the 2009 remasters. The vinyl of the remixes smokes the cd of the remixes due to compression and limiting. This 1993 remaster is so dynamic with peaks and volleys that it’s my go to cd release

Man does this sound good. Transports you staright to Beatle land. Loving all the Beatles Japanese Pressings!
