Demolition Hammer – Tortured Existence

ive noticed there is a digital pop on the song "gelid remains" at approx 36 second mark where the first riff transitions into the 2nd one. its also on the original and remastered CDs. I do not hear it on the original LP though!

A good album, a good reissue. Demolition Hammer is a canonical barbaric thrash metal, the music is devoid of compromises and its goal is only the broken cervical vertebrae of the army of headbangers. The old school in all its splendor. And although the music industry is offering more and more new names, Demolition Hammer records are not covered in dust and Century Media occasionally satisfies the demand of a bunch of scumbags for veteran records.

The reissue in this case is a thing in itself, only an album with 30 years of exposure and no exclusivity, remastering, apparently, does not differ from the reissues of Century Media in the new millennium. The sound seemed a little muted (probably, in terms of technology, this is not the best Morrisound release) - a kind of vintage sound of the early 90s, almost completely cut out the middle frequencies, but the low frequencies dominate to an excellent extent. Solos sound like they are inside the record, they lack volume and accents. Solos sound like they are locked inside the record, there is a little lack of the necessary volume and accents. In any case, the record has a very good dynamics and is still ready to send the majority of those trying to say at least some word in the genre into a deep knockout. By purchasing this record you get what you deserve.

Absolutely delighted with this repress, sounds great, well worth getting!
