surprisingly the digital .wav format has better sounding & imaging than this pressing. it has less 3D effects and not as shiny (HD) as I can get from the digital .wav format. does anyone have any idea?

Now here's one schizophrenic record. The soundscapes are brilliant in all their harshness and aggressiveness. The only problem with this recording is that someone during some phase of the production thought that "louder is better" and decided to turn the SPL levels to maximum, which manifests in a horrific amount of digital clipping and compression. For this reason, I give 5/5 for the music and 1/5 for production.
