Just bought this tonight, finally have a vinyl copy of my favourite Nazareth album. Also picked up the coloured vinyl issues of Razamanaz and Expect No Mercy

My copy of this also contains a promotional folder inside with a loose photo of the band on one side and a letter describing Nazareth's journey up to 1979. I felt very fortunate getting this

Other than most Nazareth fans I love this record and count it to the best they've ever made. I own the original German 1978 Vertigo pressing and bought this reissue because of the great vinyl colour and my hope for sound improvement.
I always felt the original release was missing a lot in the bass range and wasn't disappointed with this reissue.

Salvo-green vinyl. Superb 'sound' quality from the grooves...however...too much surface noise which remains after deep cleaning-(heard only in quieter passages, but annoying all the same). Lovely sleeves. Disappointing quality control on the pressing. (Buy,but look for a good price).

Since no one has commented on this release, figured I would. This is a fantastic sounding pressing of this album. I would say if you're looking for anything other than an American A&M pressing, this is it. Great full sound, and everything cuts through nice and clear. Guitars and bass sound especially good on this version. Dan's vocal has a lot of room to breathe, you can almost hear the air around him. The US A&M pressing boosts the top end a bit, which actually helps the drums out, but also makes the guitars and vocals sound a bit brittle and harsh in spots. Overall, the German Vertigo is THE ONE.
