This is a spectacular issue of this record, and probably better pressed than some of the more recent reissues. Pretty sure it's mono too since no stereo edition exists to my knowledge. I almost got duped, but the label ("RCA" only) was a tip off so I passed. I had a feeling it was a boot. It'd be awesome if someone legit like Music On Vinyl would issue this.

As with the two posts below, I bought a copy and it sounds like it's been mastered from a faulty CDR. Utter rubbish. Avoid like the plague.

I agree with the comment of djmushroom : same issue, my copy isn't warped but the first 4 songs of side 1 sound awful. DO NOT BUY !!!

Allen Toussaint's debut album is a milestone of New Orleans R&B, but i can only warn potential buyers to stay clear of this (pirate) reissue. My copy (although bought sealed) is warped and has badly distorted sound on side 1.
This classic album would deserve a proper reissue.
