Mitski – Laurel Hell

Always loved MITSKI's vinyl releases because her team adds a digital download card for the albums.

The disc feels light but it sounds great with no crackling or popping. It is a short album so I wish it was longer.

I like the dynamic range of this record, but I hate the loud surface noise. There is so much of it that it’s hard for me to enjoy the record.

Sound quality is incredible. No clicks or pops at all. Super pretty pressing too. However, I wish that my copy had more purple

i got it today, and it's kind of disappointing
i bought it on tower records and came with an extra obi including the price, although it was not so well designed (the cut of the logos was noticeable, doesn't look good), the obi inside the wrap has a wrong product code (JAG415JCD) and the pressing was made on czech republic, no comments on here (i personally thought this was made in japan, however it's just a japanese distribution edition) the sound was great, no noises on my pressing and the color is awesome.

Is this pressing rare? Why does its page look so sketchy 😭

I'm confused. It shows 2 extra songs on the back but they're not actually on the vinyl. Download only??

Sounds great but my copy is terribly warped. Sure it can be fixed but not very good.

Saying all that, the music is absolutely phenomenal in my opinion. One of the best albums I've come across in the last decade. So in love with every track. Such a strong record. As important as Low by Bowie in my opinion.

Sounds as good/bad as the other variants. No one can tell me this vinyl is dead silent. I kinda expected more from a Japan release. Also my copy came warped.

Got the opaque version and it sounds awesome. The packaging is great, it has a poly-lined inner sleeve and the cover looks sooo good with the metallic finished details.

Looks incredible. THIS is how the 20th anniversary edition of The White Stripes' White Blood Cells should've looked like.

And better yet, it sounds great too! I had only a brief issue on A1, it presented some clicks near the beginning and a single louder pop near the end. After spinning twice and a few swipes, the poo went away, remaining only a few clicks. Nothing else, probably will go away after another thorough cleaning. Basically, a flawless release.

The cover is quite nice, as well, with the otherwise white details silver foiled. Sadly, no printed inner (a shame since the demos' 12" has one).
