Korn – Requiem

Don't agree at all with the review claiming this has good dynamics, I'd argue that they're quite low for such a busy album. The score hovers around DR9 and not only that, I had some distortion here and there that shouldn't be there. Also had some nonfill issues here and there (mainly the first part of side B) and a few pops and clicks.

Fun album, but could be better for sure.

Talk about uninspired. Absolute trash production. The instruments have ZERO ooommph to them and Davis' voice is front and center and his singing fucking sucks. It is almost incomprehensible to me that a so-called rock band can enter a studio and emerge with something so completely devoid of anything resembling a band playing in a room.

it makes absolutely no sense why this is so expensive, even the MORE LIMITED indie exclusive red tape is selling cheaper

Sounds good not flat sounding that’s for sure, good dynamics I find. Beside that like others mentioned record was dirty with paper shards all over it, quick wet wash all is good now.

Mix is a little quiet compared to my other Korn records and a little bit of surface noise here and there but overall I'd say it sounds just as good as anyone could hope for :)

I managed to pick this version up from HMV for £11. There are still copies available from their website today (31/05/22).

Very good pressing. Clear crispy sound. The color looks pretty. The music, the lyrics are amazing with the right punch straight to your face. Heard all the colors. The coke bottle version is the best. For just EUR 20, the best value for money. Highly recommended.

The vinyl pressing itself is very good. I have good clear sound. There is a little static here and there, but nothing that ruins the overall sound. As for the album content, I love it. Korn continues doing their fantastic and unique sound.
