Vocals way up on this pressing. Slight static at times & it gets loud on Side 2 / Song 1.
I like the LP. With less members they are melodic and much less Americana.
The only entire LP by H.F.T.R.R. so far I liked enough to buy.
Paid $19.59 new at Target in May 22. - Edited 2 years agoMy pressing has a serious case of non-fill whooshing very apparent in between songs and in the quieter moments, even more so on Side B. Also side B is flawed with some distortion on the first track and a very loud click midway through the side.
My copy sounds fantastic. Comes in a one pocket gatefold and a decent antistatic inner. The colorway is rather milky than clear but looks nice. Runs flat and flawless on a Rega P3/Hana SL. I have no distortion, pops or clicks whatsoever. Really happy with this release.

Yes, I also see the side 1 is slightly off centre. The sound quality itself is pretty good. Sounds very close to CD.

Side one is badly off center. The wow/distortion is audible in places and there's even a soft bump and grind sound in the quiet parts. The days of "Made in Germany" meaning you can expect a top quality pressing are clearly over.- Edited 2 years agoMy copy (ordered from the label) is highly defective. All of Side B is filled with static. I have contacted the label to see if I can get a replacement.
UPDATE: After I reached out to them, they sent out another copy to me very quickly, no questions asked, and this one works! Good customer service experience.
