Seems I will be a dissenter here re: SQ. I noticed sibilance throughout the album, particularly on "Special Secret Song". Though I have no other vinyl to compare this to, I can't help thinking that they could have done a better job with the mastering. It's not that its bad, just not as great as I imagine it could have been.

I’ve heard this album many times over the years. Always on CD or cassette. RHCP is a favorite of mine so I’ve been trying to get all the studio albums on vinyl. I was stoked to get this one new from a user here at Discogs for a fair price. I can honestly say I’ve never heard this album sound quite as good as it is sounding right now. Played loudly it almost sounds like I could be in the studio listening to them lay this classic record down. If you want it, get it!!! My particular pressing does have some spots between tracks that have that “fuzzy” sound. It doesn’t interfere with any of the music, but just a minor gripe. Those kind of things can’t really be avoided sometimes the way I look at it.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS album "The uplift mofo party plan" (their 3rd one, from 1987) is IMO their first great album, it's better than their previous one "Freaky styley" (their 2nd album, from 1985) from which I like 4 songs and which is much better than their previous one "The Red Hot Chili Peppers" (their 1st album, from 1984) from which 3 songs got into my ears (and one of them is really good)!

I can’t believe how good this sounds, really nice deep rich sound, comparable to the 2016 European press of Mothers Milk....if youre worried about how this sounds before shelling out some dough for this, I’m telling you, get it.

Awesome pressing, sound quality is excellent. I can’t find any information to confirm the source but I think it’s most likely digital. Still sounds great, remastering is solid. Packaging is great quality too, comes with printed inner sleeve with credits
