it never was a hifi record, a bunch of kids started a scene. Chicago House was born around that time and with and around that album.

I have a promotional copy of this CD. The only difference is that there is a white rectangular sticker over the barcode indicating "NOT FOR SALE" and many kanji printed in black. The face of the disc has the words "SAMPLE - LOANED" debossed in light orange in the center, around the hole.

Perfect sounding reissue of a true underground classic. the very first house album from Chicago... a must have!

Maybe it's just me, but the mastering sounds like it came from a 128 kbps mp3 or something. It's a night and day difference between the Fantasy 12" and Fantasy on this LP. The 12" is way clearer. Maybe the original record sounded this way, though.

This is considered to be the first full length house album made. It also contains the original version of Jesse Saunders' "I AM the DJ" as of which he did the more popular "Remix of the Remix" verion that was pressed on limited red vinyl. Very RARE as only a few hundred copies of this LP were pressed.
