I also noticed the volume jump on LP2 but it’s not a dealbreaker when LP1 is so near flawless too. So dank and dynamic, makes me wish i had an expensive subwoofer
Listening to this again reminded me. Have all copies of this got a significantly better pressing of disc 2 than disc 1? The second disc of my copy is far, far louder and more dynamic.
This has more to do with "Metal Box" & 'Mezzanine" than "Blue Lines." All great albums regardless!- Edited 14 years ago

It's negative that sounds exactly like an album that released 20 years ago...
...but it's positive that ''blue lines'' is a masterpiece...and ''waiting for you'' is a very nice album...everyone copies these days...so,it's better to copy something great..!

The sonic partner of Massive Attack or Tricky? Next level dub variations of the highest caliber, something out of an old Alfred Hitchcock film or not? A universe unexplored or not? While listening, these are some of the questions you may end up asking yourself. It is unclear, whatever it is, it had me in sonic limbo for its 60+ minute duration. Incredible work to say the very least.
