Meshuggah – Immutable

The marbling on my copy is very subtle (almost un-noticable without holding the lp up to light) and one of the lp's seems to have a random thread or bit of black fiber pressed into it. Thankfully, I don't notice it causing any problems on playback. Overall a super clean, super quiet master, with excellent balancing and separation, and none of the muddy crud that sometimes plagues this bands' mixes. Outside of the minor QC issue, this is an excellent pressing.

The press is lousy. Lots of ticks, both LPs are warped a bit (though not unplayable but still… at these prices???) and the hole in disc 2 is so tight it’s difficult to get it on and off the turntable. One of the worst lp presses I’ve bought in a few years. Very disappointing.

In my first spin it sounded distorted and muffled, and the Records was cleaned prior to playing. Anyone else have the same problem?

Nice release. Very loud recording for Type I.
Side 2 of my copy has constant rustling noise in right channel :(
Other than that, sounds nice and consistent

Nice pressing. Not completely without issues, but certainly better than past Nuclear Blast releases.

Like other comments have said, this pressing is insanely good. No surface noise, even on inner grooves or quiet sections.

This record sounds amazing, clean and smooth. Wonderful master, not compressed to hell. You can put it loud and it is clear and powerful.

In my set there are two repeating plates with sides C and D. Someone will probably get two identical plates A and B. This is very insulting((( Also the apples are pasted crookedly not in the center.... horror...

Atomic Fire failed so hart with this release, it's so sad. I'm actually mad I spent that money to those incompetent dudes... Who the hell thought that was fine? Quality Control? WTF?

This is the definitive color variant and pressing of this album IMO. Compared to a few other copies, this is by far the best sounding version and the fire orange/red colored wax matches the album cover perfectly. I was shocked at how muddy the mix on the digital release sounded so I was skeptical that the vinyl would sound any different. Boy, was I wrong...
