I was anxiously awaiting this release. On Vola’s albums the dynamic range on vinyl is limited. It sounds flat and lifeless.
Streaming the first tracks of this ‘live’ album on Qobuz promised excellent dynamics on this album. But unfortunately the vinyl sounds dull and lifeless, again. The highs are there, but there is just no low end energy. Too bad, again.

I listen on a Roksan Radius turntable with a Phasemation PP-200 through an ifi iPhono 3 preamp on an AMR integrated amp. My system is quite resolving with more than adequate bass on my Klipsch RP-8000F loudspeakers.

Tesseract does a WAY better job at mastering their vinyl. Maybe Vola could use their 4D studio for a change?
