Neu! – Neu!

Not the best Vinyl Quality. My copy visually looks absolutely mint, but it plays with background noise and light crackling in quiet parts. But I believe this comes because of the low pressing quality. I doubt there exists really mint sounding copys. Perhaps I´m wrong, but it seems for me that this is like a half official release, more like a bootleg.

How is the sound of the pressing of rhis picture disc ?, thx a lot

How does this one sound? I've made it a point to avoid picture discs, but I see my local shop has this in.

*edit* Passed on the pic disc and went with the cassette. The pic disc already looked oxidized and is 40 bucks retail. No thanks.

Excellent pressing, i can recommend without hesitation. On par with my 1973 NEU! 2 pressing.

This album is amazing, and this pressing is great too. The worst part about it is that it's sourced digitally, but we all paid $23, so not a complaint of mine. The inner gat print isn't noticeably bad (I went back and looked at mine when I saw other reviews, not disappointed) The pause in track 2 is just a part of the song that I have grown very fond of, because we don't love Neu for being perfect and flawless, we love them because they're quirky and weird. Buy this press unless you can afford the original. Buy the CD if you don't like digitally sourced vinyl.

I really do not understand how it was possible in this time and especially in Dierk's and Planck's studios to get these SOUNDS onto vinyl.
It is truly miraculous:
The music isn't so much the main point (as I find it isn't either with the first two Kraftwerks), it is the mesmerizing, almost hypnotic effect of the sound(s) when listening to it. Apart from what comes out of my speakers being far superior to many other records of this as well as later times, there are like -how to express that- extra layers(?) sometimes, where one has difficulties to distinguish from which direction the sound actually came or whether it might just have been in one's own head. Some extra 3-dimensionality, if you so will, which, according to my understanding, simply couldn't be in the grooves of a left/right record ...

I guess then, this pressing, which I possess in what I consider VG (and most sellers here seem to sell as VG+ ...), must also be excellent. As, actually, are all Brain-records I own.

If you have come this far and aren't already a sound-freak like me, do yourself a real favour and refrain from purchasing yet another five average records, or this one particular AC/CD of which you already have four to complete your collection. Buy this!
Sit in your armchair and be carried away.

And, no, I am not selling this record, it will be me who parts from it and not the other way round.

Very impressed with the sound of this release. Wide open sound, great soundstage and detailed sound. Highly recommend.

Was there ever a reissue with this cover and runout? I have a copy that's in ridiculously good shape that does not look like it's from 1972. Would happy to be wrong!
