Arcade Fire – We

I try to avoid GZ pressings as far as I can.. but here I had to go with what you can get.. As everybodys says, the packaging is really beautiful an well made. (I`m myself in the printing business and I can aprove the awesome quality) Considering this, it`s even more frustrating that the vinyl itself is a peace of crap! Mine is totaly warped and full of little scratches. It also had a lot of out the sleeve fingerprints on it. The sound is FILLED with pops, clicks and all around surface noise.. This is all only topped by a horrible trim: LITTERALLY as sharp as a knife. For real! I'm not exaggerating. So sad..

The only picture disc in my entire collection to have warped since I bought it when it was released. Side A is a slurred slow mess now, despite it being played only a handful of times and stored perfectly. What the hell?! :-(

Mine has surface noise and some big weird noise right chanel from time to time. I will update this review after I get a replacement

None of the versions listed on Discogs matches the full runouts on my copy; I've got a substantial string of numbers on each side that is NOT included on any of the black vinyl pressings, according to the notes input by other users. Sooo.... I'm adding this version to "my collection," as it's the closest contender and the description of the packaging is mostly identical. Sort of.

Looks like I also lucked out with my copy. Silent and flat. No issues. I expect this is a QC problem, so whether yours pops and crackles or not might be a roll of the dice

My first copy was sent back due to too many clicks, especially on the track "WE". The second copy was kind of OK. Not the best pressing by AF.

Mine has a LOT of surface noise. Tried deep cleaning with Spin-Clean and it did not get much better :(

It sounds really good, almost no noise. Packaging wise it looks fantastic. The outer sleeve print is glossy and the back cover has a card pasted on which gives it a nice effect. Unfortunately, arrived with some cosmetic damage.

GZ Media and hard paper inner sleeves almost always equals scuffed, scratched records and this is no exception. Plenty of audible scratches on side A and the record is extremely warped. There's no non-fill so that's a win haha. But yeah the packaging is top notch and the mastering by Ryan K. Smith delivers. At the end of the day I paid £2 for this thanks to a sale so it's all good. The thing is I know many people would've paid full retail and gotten the same condition (or worse) record like me and that doesn't bode well for the future of the vinyl industry D:

Everyone is saying that their pressing sucks but mine is honestly one of the quietest records I own. Isn't that funny
