Mojo is the twelfth studio album by the American rock band Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, released on June 15, 2010 on CD and June 29 on Blu-ray. It was Petty's first album with the Heartbreakers in eight years. Mojo debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling 125,000 copies in its first week of release. The album was also the band's first full album with bassist Ron Blair since 1981's Hard Promises, as he played on only two tracks on the previous Heartbreakers album, The Last DJ.

Jefferson Jericho Blues is a laid-back jam to kick off what is a much stronger album than I thought when I bought it in 2010. The next three tracks, First Flash, Running Man's Bible and Pirate's Cove are as strong a triad of TP & HB tracks as on any album; looking back almost 13 years later, they all land with an authority that previous releases just didn't have. They're bluesy, melodic, deceptively complex songs played by a band that knows EXACTLY what they are doing. I don't think Mojo is considered a desert island Petty disc by anyone, and I don't know if it got great reviews or sold well, but in this day of streaming audio, if you missed Mojo the first time, it's never too late to catch up. The title is spot on.

Amazing pressing.
I don't have the chance to compare it with the first pressing, but this has a vast and balanced soundstage.

For folks waiting on a reissue, be patient. Petty's estate is not going to let his albums stay out of print. Over the last couple of years Highway Companion, Echo, and Last DJ all went out of print for a bit and prices here went way up. They're all back in print now. Same will happen with Mojo.

Everything about this record is amazing. Quiet as digital and dynamic energetic sound. One of Petty’s best by far.

Outstanding, high quality Pallas pressing. My copy sounds great and the jacket is very nice, with a great photo and lyric insert. Overall I think this is my favorite Petty album. Such a huge loss when he died - he was making some of the best music of his entire career at this late stage.
