2018 repress comes in polyvinyl inner, so no scuffs from 7” sliding around

Great album. To have it on vinyl, one is either stuck with Plain Recordings, which is worse than horrible, or pay these inflated prices. ML RIP Sorry the world is such a dung heap.

Plain Recording: Stay far far away, and they have been licensed to do vinyl reissues for so many good albums. 4 Men with Beards, not as bad, but not good, and again, so many good records. Why?

It is my belief that the 7" slides around and mucks up the LP. I also got a crappy copy covered in scuffs.

I have seen two brand new sealed copies being unsealed and on both the 12" looked like someone had stepped on it.

This is certainly carrying a lousy rating for such a wonderful album... would any of you who rated it poorly care to elaborate? Is it that you don't like the album, or is the pressing the problem? I picked up the Plain Recording LP, and the vinyl came new all scuffed up, dents, a real mess, two copies I've tried, and so am thinking about this Parlophone version, but the rating gives me pause.

I ordered one copy, it arrived new with scuff marks and dents across the vinyl of both the LP and the 45 rpm 7". I returned it for a replacement. This was with Amazon. The replacement was in the same lousy condition. This is a great album. Seeing JLysaker's earlier complaint, I'll be sending this back for a refund. Ridiculous. 180 grams of poorly mastered crappy vinyl covered with flaws. It's such a wonderful record. Too bad it was repressed on vinyl in such a shoddy manner.

Very poor pressing. Muted and lifeless. A crime given how rich the album is sonically.
