      If you think Keith might sometimes get boring and self indulging be it in opinions, compositions or improvisations - hop on my train and give this album a spin. He's the least like that on this album, which makes this my favorite album.

        Jarrett recorded this with DeJohnette when they were playing with Miles. It's not just piano and drums but Jarrett explores the electric piano in a quieter setting than the fire of the Miles Davis electric band. It's a quirky collection with some very nice grooves and interplay but one always wonders what it would have sounded like with a bass player!

          The Allmusic review by Richard S. Ginell awarded the album 3 stars, stating "this is a valuable, underrated transition album that provides perhaps the last glimpse of the electric Keith Jarrett as he embarked on his notorious (and ultimately triumphant) anti-electric crusade"
