I didn't have any of the John Williams soundtracks on vinyl when I was a kid, but I did have "Pops in Space" on cassette, so this was my main source of JW music. Not a bad thing because you get a real flavour of his popular music of the time, as well as it being conducted by Williams himself. The Boston Pops is in fine form as well. Maybe not essential if you already have the soundtracks (though these are different recordings with a different orchestra) but this brings back a lot of memories when I listen to it today.

I found this in the wild at some record store for a couple bucks on vinyl. Definitely would recommend it if you stumble across it for a reasonable price.
