What is the real print run for this one? I think it's obvious to suspect that Modular did a few quiet represses back in 2010 and there are about 3 to 5 thousand 45 RPM copies circulating. Definitely not 500.

Infamously bad pressing. Mine are not warped, but the sound is dreadful, all muddy and muffled, a truly horrible experience. I never listen to it anymore because of that.

Great pressing of an album that drones to eternity. It sounds like if the Beatles grew balls and just played the same song for entire album. It’s the kind of trippy that makes you not want to trip. But the pressing is phenomenal. Solid.

For the first 3 Tame Impala LP’s my buddy told me not to bother with the US pressing and get this European one instead. So I did through Rarewaves and boy was he right. Great sounding pressing. Just get this and be happy with it.

Really solid press especially for the money. Scooped it off Amazon for $20 and couldn’t be happier; the soundstage is very wide and immersive, discs are dead silent.

Yeah not sure why they chose to remove the interlude, I know though that there is a specific “version” of Innerspeaker on Spotify that doesn’t have the interlude and one that does. Was a little bummed about that.

Seems like they got any problems with vinyl releases for this album worked out as mine sounds fantastic from beginning to end. This is the edition to get. Ordered it through their US store.

Still their best imo. Among other reasons, the compositions have never been more interesting than here.

As far as the pressing, it’s very good. Quiet, flat and dynamic with nice separation.

Got my copy on sale, half off. I'm not seeing any issues with the sound of this press. Not sounding dull at all to me.

Wow just compared this with my 2010 UK press and it completely smokes it! It’s a complete 3D sound of instrument separation with a very crisp high end, also it’s cut a whole lot louder than the standard 33/3. The 33/3 in comparison is very flat and the high end is severely rolled off. You haven’t heard this album until you’ve heard this press.

Further compared with the 10th anniversary edition and which has better fidelity than the original press but this 45rpm still has better separation and high frequency extensions

Finally grabbed a copy of this at a reasonable price. Very happy to own the 45 rpm!
Now, for individuals who claim that this pressing somehow pushes the album beyond its lofi origins, I disagree. If anything, the 45rpm emphasizes the fact that this is a lofi recording. And that's not a bad thing by the way... It's part of the album's DNA.
The 45rpm is a louder, dirtier, more detailed and raw presentation of the album. The high end is where this pressing excels the most.
Don't purchase this if you're looking for a (non-existent) polished presentation of the album but do purchase if you're looking for the most accurate representation available on vinyl.
