American Edition of "Jump In The Fire" single
The title song, that was included on Vinyl editions of this single ISN'T really a remix. In fact, the only major difference is that version is FULLY standalone (album version on other hand, was merged with the end of "Anesthesia [Pulling Teeth]").
Cassette editions (released 2 years later) included "Anesthesia [Pulling Teeth]" (which was [like the album version] merged with the titular song).

referencing Whiplash (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, EP, Repress) MRS-04
I doubt highly that Megaforce issued translucent brown pressings, at least back then. PVC (your records material) is clear at inception, carbon black is added at pressing for a couple reasons. The fact that a pressing such as these might be translucent is most likely due to a lack of carbon black added at the pressing plant.referencing Whiplash (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Maxi-Single) MRS-04
Release date 2/85, source Megaforce Discography "The Indie Days" (from Deeper Into The Vault compilation CD).referencing Whiplash (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Maxi-Single) MRS-04
How do you identify which version you have if the single is sealed? All the 12" sleeves look the same? Or am I missing something?referencing Whiplash (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, EP, Maxi-Single) MRS-04
Mine is translucent Brown but the matrix is almost identical to first edition except its translucent Brown. My side A matrix matches this one exactly but my side B is -
A-EX - MRS-04-B Sterlingreferencing Whiplash (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Maxi-Single) MRS-04
So my matrix runout matches this first edition but my vinyl is translucent Brown like the 2nd edition which has a completely different matrix runoutreferencing Whiplash (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Maxi-Single) MRS-04
My matrix/Runout is exactly this but the vinyl is translucent brown like the 2nd edition, not translucent greyreferencing Whiplash (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, Maxi-Single) MRS-04
After checking all the versions here, I believe mine is this one. My copy doesnt seem translucent though. Just a solid black vinyl.- This is complete nonsense. The pictures on both sides of a picture disc are hardly ever facing up exactly the same. The fact that the B-side picture is not facing up when you turn around the record is NOT a mispressing, it's common. Calling this is misprint is complete and utter bullshit.
