Edited one year agoJust got new repress of this one (Aug 2023) - sounds absolutely amazing with huge bass, nice tops, great sound stage. You can hear the 'thick air' - mix is phenomenal !!! Dead quiet vinyl. Paid £58 - the cheapest option on eBay from all_your_music.
This one and the Second Set on Music on Vinyl are both very highly recommended !

Edited one year agoA great set. Gregg is in fine vocal form. He’s a bit ‘mixed down’ to my ears. Would have preferred his voice be more up front. Still very listenable and wouldn’t steer anyone away from this collection. There is dead air between some tracks hence the “live” flow is interrupted. Not a problem for me personally but some may want the continuity of the show sequence intact. If you’re an ABB fan, you’ll not want to miss this incarnation of the band. I’m glad I obtained this 2 record set. Nice full color photo poster included. Recommended.
How is the sound on this vinyl? Around 37 min on one side is a lot compression.

Amazing live album from one of the best southern rock bands ever!
The orange splatter looks beautiful. The records themselves sound very nice. A tad more high end then I prefer, but a clear recording and quiet pressing; especially for a color album.- Edited 4 years agoMy barcode sticker matches this one. Its the Orange swirl variant.

Barcode # 8 29421 98998. Different last 5 digits that what is pictured. Might keep sealed for a bit bit until more copies surface with same barcode and color info.
This one needs a vinyl re-issue or re-press. The one of 1991 is too expensive and the 2nd set already has a re-issue via Music On Vinyl.
