The band was asked what was up with the digipak track list in the 2009 interview conducted for and featured exclusively in the liner notes to the 2-disc remastered re-release 'Bloody Kisses - The Top Shelf Edition'.

Peter says that it was done by his request and that he preferred the digipak. He goes on to say that he hated ripping off the public by putting out two versions but felt it was his opportunity to fix what he felt was a musical mistake.

Kenny was not a fan of 'Suspended In Dusk' and said that it was Peter trying to move into the vision of the band realized on 'October Rust'.

Josh said that he, "thinks the digipak sucks" and went on to say that part of what makes Type O great is the eclectic insanity - going from songs like 'Black No. 1' to 'Kill All The White People' and that brilliance was a happy accident. He noted that Peter didn't have to understand where it came from and just had to play it but that Peter wanted continuity, so the digipak was released.

The 3rd album from TYPE O NEGATIVE ("Bloody kisses" from 1993) is their best one!

The sound and quality of the vinyl is superb. However, my only complaint is the very low image quality. Everything is pixelated. (Unlike the NMN set, which has clean and crisp images.) if ROG ever reissues the 3xLP edition, lets hope they clean up the artwork.

I’m truly blown away yet again by Run Out Groove. Very little surface noise. The dynamics has room like a chapel. Instrument separation are place perfectly. Love how the keyboard gets center of attention when it starts playing, so ominous. Theres so much detail that I never heard before, its like listening to it to the first time again.

This was an USA (and Canada) RSD realese only. So I’m glad that I found one of the few that landet in Europe. The vinyls sounds amazing.
