- Sound quality is absolutely stunning! Great depth and separation, sounds very lively. Highly recommended!!
- I'll tell ya what...I have this version and the Craft/Sugar Hill (CR00333) and I'll be keeping this version.
An immersive listening experience with great depth and detail.
Highly recommended. - Edited 6 months agoSound: great sound quality and volume, no surface noise at all!
Music: I normally don't listen to country but this was a positive surprise since the album is quite enjoyable, 3,5 stars! - Edited 6 months agoThis was one of my favorite albums in high school and so I was very excited for it to be released by VMP since it's not previously been easy to find. I think they did an excellent job with this from the packaging to the mastering. The quiet parts sound so intimate like the band is the the room. The vinyl is dead silent as well. I think this benefits greatly from the 45 rpm masteting, which has been the case with most of the albums I have at this speed, and there is still a decent amount of music per side.
- Immaculate sound. Full, textured, clear. Love the detail in the voices and instruments. Excellent pressing.
- VinylMePlease is reissuing this record as part of their country track next month. Looking forward to it!
- Definitely a great sounding record, but like someone else noted, the first disc is slightly off center. It's really not too bad, compared to a lot that I've seen. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with being off center as it's the only track I've noticed this issue, but the third (last) song on side one has a noticeable fluctuation in pitch throughout the whole track. I'm pretty sensative to changes in pitch, but this is very obvious. Anybody else have this issue with their pressing?
- Great overall and its amazing to have in the collection, however side A is off center and mastered a bit too hot on the peaks. The rest is not only good though, but really really good! So close, Craft. Keep at it.
