I've yet to give it a good clean but it sounds rough in places with occasional dropouts.
Update - I gave it good clean and it is much better. Still think it could sound better. 
I enjoyed my vinyl copy of the album but passed on this expanded cd release. Just a though on the highly criticized packaging. Perhaps it was done by design, like a destructive art statement? I'm thinking here along the lines of Factory Records making sandpaper record sleeves to destroy the other records in your stacks...

Was hoping the 12" would get some sort of RSD release given the Autofiction Deluxe CD. Sadness In You is a brilliant tune.
in the long line of the worst packagings EVER, this one takes the crown as the most impractical. absolute sh*t even after you managed to open it. good luck trying to keep this near-mint or even VG.
The worst packaging I have ever seen. Essentially like a food product.

Glad I came here before trying to open. I thought I was losing my mind when I looked at this thing.
I tried to open it with a cutter along the bottom. Even with a lot of care and patience I couldn’t open it without scratching it. Very frustrating. In addition to this, the adhesive gum sticks the cover again when closing it. Had I known I’ve never bought it.
I'm going to guess that the printer switched the front and the back by mistake. The space above the barcode matches where the pull strip should be.
Edited one year agoGreat content. Lousy packaging. Whoever came up with an idea of a sleeve you have to destroy to open should be sacked. A regular digipak or digisleeve would have been a far better idea. And the forthcoming 'Bloodsports' reissue will be in an annoying 7" sleeve! No consistency at all.
UPDATE: managed to open my copy with a scalpel along the bottom. So it wasn't torn open. But who on earth designed this packaging and why is still beyond me...
