I sold my copy in early 1980 for £5 to a dealer on Portabello Rd Market (Canadian John) and thought I was doing well..! I wonder how much he sold it for? I'm making do with a coloured vinyl repro now.- Imagine an original NM copy of this will run you around 10 grand. This really doesn't do it for me. It's sort of before they perfected their sound. I really bought this for the cover

I was too dumb to realise how great/ important/ world-changing this band was until they had gone :( . I missed their records on release and had to catch up. ... in the mid-80's I got lucky.... the 7" Ideal, the 12" Ideal AND a totally complete Sordide Sentimentale.... on the wall in a little Central Manchester shop.... £40 each. I think I got him down to £110 for the three....result! All three are still sitting happily a few metres away as I type :)
