Bat For Lashes – Fur And Gold

I could finally get my hands on a pressing of this album that didn‘t cost an arm & a leg, but sadly this really doesn‘t sound too good. Even after deep cleaning it, there‘s still a bunch of pops & clicks all over both sides. I‘m pretty sad that this doesn‘t come with the printed inner-sleeve, but I‘m happy to finally have it in my collection though.

Gloomy glammy synth pop awash in great songwriting and production.

My version of this is blue vinyl. Is anyone else's?

Mine has some pretty bad distortion on the high vocals at the end of side A beginning with "Sad Eyes," but other than that this pressing is OK. The "packaging" (if you can call it that) is ugly as sin. I was initially convinced I had a pirated copy.

I received this variant instead of the one I was actually looking for (thanks a lot, Eil), and while unhappy about not getting what I ordered, I haven't found anything wrong with it. It's quiet and sounds nice to my ears. A commenter below made it sound like this would be a horrible listening experience. I disagree.

Can anyone tell me why this is a misprint? Please.

Mine sounds & looks ok, even in the quiet passages, but yes, it's bare bones reissue. Still worth having tho.

The Press Quality is low by this Reprint! Cover is also in low quality. No inserts. But the Album is just great. This amazing Debüt needs a high quality Reprint on 2 Vinyls. Perhaps the Gatefold Version is better? Any idea?
