I'd love to own this specific version so I can put it next to my copy of "Introducing The Beatles" with the blank back cover.referencing Damaged (LP, Album, MCA Distribution Logo) 9502
The runout on side a on my copy has a stylized Black Flag logo in the etching, in addition to "Comin At Ya - The Real (Real is underlined) Gelatinous Thing O" as well as an "SST Y'ALL!", so which version do I have? And where am I looking for the MCA logo?referencing Damaged (LP, Album, MCA Distribution Logo) 9502
had a super minty copy that i found used with the anti-parent sticker back in the mid-80s. like most of my collection back then, it got traded away for Japanese punk & HC records. then sometime in the early 90s, i was walking down the street in Cleveland Heights, and there was a trashed copy sitting in the top of someones garbage can out on the street. of course i grabbed it!! hammered sleeve, beat vinyl that skips a few times and has surface noise throughout, but i love it!!! never knew that this ever had a lyric sleeve cos i had never ever seen a copy with one.referencing Damaged (LP, Album, MCA Distribution Logo) 9502

Beware of bootlegs. There’s a 2019 unofficial release floating around with anti-parent sticker. You can tell it’s a bootleg because it has no matrix numbers or etchings. - Edited 10 months ago

It seems once the cardboard tip ons ran out they put the vinyl in non-tip on sleeves with white inside as that’s what I have and what have sold in the past on Discogs. Same vinyl matrices and labels, slightly different sleeve.
This pressing rules btw. referencing Damaged (LP, Album, MCA Distribution Logo) 9502
When did this album start to become black and white on its cover? I'm curious as to why. Also as to why there's no lyric sheet, but I suppose that was because it's 80s punk.referencing Damaged (LP, Album, Reissue, Repress) SST 007
You can’t even seen Henry’s eyes on first presses (lame). Glad they fixed that on these bw releases by drawing some on.referencing Damaged (LP, Album, Reissue, Repress) SST 007
The cover is low-fi as hell! Damn, they could have done a better scan... it looks like they removed the contrast. But I like the sound I mean. It's an old hardcore album so don't need it to sound like Gustav Mahler's 5th simphony!- Edited one year ago

I own the first pressing and this one. Both are in NM condition. I have a fairly high-end audiophile system. I have A/B’d these pressings several times. This pressing differs greatly from the first pressing sonically. I don’t think one would have to even have a high-end hi-fi to notice the difference, any decent stereo will do it, as the sonic characteristics of each are so vastly different they are quite easy to tell apart. The 1982 repress is far and away the better of the two pressings. It crushes the first pressing imo (which actually bums me out as I’d love to have the version with the “Anti-Parent” sticker be the version I pull out to listen to as well as to show off to friends). The first pressing is terrible in comparison which I suspect is why the record was remastered and re-cut just one year later in the first place. Get the first pressing for the packaging and sticker if you’re a Black Flag collector but get this pressing if you want to hear the best pressing of Damaged. Also, it’s not just the best pressing of Damaged, it’s a truly rip roaring, beast of a mastering job! This pressing sounds incredible put up against almost any other hardcore, punk, metal album I have. It’s a super hot master and the best one out there for Damaged (later pressings are not as good either).
